I really want a cottage feel to our interior so I painted it a creamy white (Freshaire Choice non-VOC, 'Poetic Light').
I like the effect of the lights at night bouncing off the walls and ceiling, and even on a grey day, it's much brighter inside even without the lights on.
Hi guys! Great to see a new post. We're down in Oly, Wa building one of our own, and checking your blog for tips regularly. The photo section and all you have posted has been helpful. The gray days are a bit much up here but all the green's worth it. Here's hoping the lighter walls brighten things up for you.
I'm glad to see you're still tweaking things with the house and I agree that wall colours make a big difference in how bright and enjoyable a space can be. I'm always lured by the wood though too.
I'm glad you're happy with the new paint job but the lack of "stuff" has me wondering if you're actually living in your house.
The picture was taken right after I took the tape and paper off of everything.
:-) Yes, we still live here and it's working out great. I'll take an updated shot tomorrow morning and will post the shot as soon as I have a glass of juice.

Yes, the painted walls really make a huge difference. I really like how it came out.

Isn't it fun to see what a difference the *right* paint (for each space) can make?? It does look bright & cheery!
